Travertine and Glass Dining Table by Saporiti

Stunning dining table by Sergio and Giorgio Saporiti, Italy, circa 1970. The table has a heavy cubic base made of travertine with a 1.5 cm egg-shaped glass top. The hardened glass top is fixed to the base with two chrome disks which are screwed into the travertine base, therefore it is demountable for transport. Table is in a very good condition.
