Abstract wooden Sculpture by Theo Mols (1929-2010), The Netherlands 1960s. Theo Mols was a painter specialized in satin glass and glass in concrete walls, he has an fantastic oeuvre. Besides glass he also made wall carpets, linoleum cutouts and canvas objects. The sculpture is a side project which he made in the atelier of his wife Hanneke Mols - van Gool who was a great sculptor. The sculpture is carved out of solid oak and has the signature expression of Mols's work; abstract strong and graphic lines.
The work comes from the collection of the family of Mols. In excellent condition.
