Unique Large abstract sculpture by Roger Desserprit (1923-1985), France 1971. The sculpture is made out of concrete with a metal frame inside. The surface has a cement plaster which is finished with a structured paint. It can be placed both inside or outside. The sculpture has very strong lines and is interesting from every angle. Desserprit made sculptures in concrete, bronze and metal and wood, beside that he was also active as a painter. He mainly made abstract work but also created figurative sculptures in commission. Works by Roger Desserprit can be found in various private collections, notably in France and Italy, at the Grenoble Museum, at the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris and at the Musée des Ursulines in Mâcon. The work is signed at the base: R D 71. The sculpture is in very good original condition.
